The Graham Greene Birthplace Trust

The charitable object of the Trust is to promote the appreciation and study of the works of Graham Greene. The Trust's registered charity number is 1064839.

Graham Greene was born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, on 2 October 1904. His father was headmaster of the Berkhamsted Boys' School. Graham became one of the most successful British authors of the twentieth century, writing film reviews, plays, short stories, essays, "entertainments", novels and travel books. Many of his novels have been turned into films, including the ever-popular "The Third Man".
